About

From Postville, Labrador. At home everywhere.

Growing up in a cozy little town surrounded by nature's wonders, snapping photos became second nature to me. I found myself drawn to capturing the landscapes and culture that define my Inuit roots, each click of the shutter revealing the beauty I saw all around.

Nowadays, you'll find me back home in Postville, with plans to travel whenever the opportunity arrives . But I can't talk about my passion for photography without giving a shoutout to my mom. She's my rock and my inspiration, with her own impressive portfolio that's shaped my love for the lens.

I'm all about those classic black and white landscapes, though I'm not afraid to mix things up now and then. My work's been showcased in spots like The Rooms in St. John's, Newfoundland, and graces the walls of buildings across Labrador's Nunatsiavut region. But what really gets me going? The stories behind the shots, like the Innu Women's Walking Expedition or the rugged beauty of the Torngat Mountains.

With every frame I capture, I aim to bottle up the essence of the land and its people, telling stories that resonate with heart and soul. Photography's not just a hobby for me—it's a way of life, fueled by a passion that keeps me clicking away, one snapshot at a time.
